The Old Rectory is an ancient and historic building in the heart of Houghton-le-Spring.
After being closed for a number of years it was reopened in 2017 by a charity called Acumen Community Buildings. The purpose of the building is to provide a space for community groups and social entrepreneurs to work together to create a vibrant hub and co-working space.
The Old Rectory is a member of the global Co-working Accelerator Network.
The Old Rectory has rooms available to rent on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. Packages are designed to meet individual needs. There are private office spaces from 1 – 12 workers, training rooms for up to 40 people, co-working space, regular training events and community events. Free parking and Wifi readily available
